I have a ton of fucked up diseases in my family, only people ever tried to help any of them is hospice, awareness is a scam who the fuck is not aware at this point only the people not trying to pay attention.

Also I'm not sure it's practical to expect every charity to have everyone doing everything for free with how much overhead some of those things have. If someone makes their living heading up one of those things, I don't see the issue with it as long as they're honest about it. Problem is, most aren't. Or at least don't do enough to make sure people are aware of it.
