America is a joke, or at least it is slowly turning into a joke as everything around us is crumbling. Our infrastructure is collapsing, it's only a matter of time. We borrow trillions of dollars from China, but China won't ask us for the money back because hey, the majority of the stupid people in this country all NEED to have that best deal on shitty products from Wal-Mart...with it's shelves stocked with shitty products from where? China! Our rights are slowly being taken away from us while the rich get richer, corporations do whatever the fuck they want and get away with it. Meanwhile, none of those people give one rats ass about any of us. Sure you can go on and earn a decent living, but this is a caste system like it or not and you aren't getting out it. But hey, at least you are conditioned to believe that you can (aka Bootstraps!). Not to mention the fuck you got mine mentality, the team aspect of politics here, the fact that racism is still well alive and kicking, the majority of people living paycheck to paycheck. Oh and hey, you get really sick? Guess what, you'll be paying for it for the rest of your life! While I agree that there is abuse of the services offered by the government, they are not widespread as Fox News wants you to believe. I could agree with some of the points above, but man that was a totally different generation and it will never be like that again.
