I've sat back and thought a lot about the broadcasters in radio that have either moved on, readjusted their programming or flat-out lost their appeal. We really are in the final twilight of radio's better days. Will people in the future look back on radio like we do now with cinema?

I listen to a bunch of different podcasts. It's the best way to go if you want to listen to talk "radio"

I do think like Bubba says that that kind of programming is headed to the internet, but I'm a lot more skeptical about it ever becoming as profitable as Bubba seems to think it will be.

If you look at podcasters like Carolla (who I can't stand but he makes for a good example), Leykis, Hendrie, etc. They make their income from other ventures. Well Leykis is getting paid out by CBS, but same idea...

Not to mention Kevin Smith with Smodcast who I think has the best setup out of all of them.

I listen to a few podcasts, but nothing noteworthy or widely known - the Kaijucast, 11 o'Clock Comics Podcast and the Foot Stompin' Music Podcast.

I've tried listening to both Carolla and Kevin Smith's podcasts... and I just can't stand them. Mind you, I like both of those guys. The Smodcast is just lacking in content and Carolla comes off as bland and couldn't hold my interest.

I'd like to clear the air on what was said. I'm not upset over Bubba and Cynthia having a bit of a snag in their relationship, that has nothing to do with me leaving the on air portion, I explained that to him in an email, at least he said he hopes he's wrong.
