Hey Chob, or anyone else with knowledge of animation, how long realistically would it take to put one of these bits to an animated video? I would guess it would take quite a bit of time and here Bubba is saying he'll give you 25% of the YouTube proceeds, in his estimation about $10-15 bucks. Who in their right mind would do that?

I only have very basic knowledge of After Effects which isn't exactly "animation" in the way he's referring to it. But to answer your question, someone having to build the characters, backgrounds, etc. from scratch would take a long ass time. If he's looking for a pro, he's pretty much asking for some mark to piss away hours they could spend making good money with a paying project in the name of being a mark.

You're right, many hours go into putting to a 5 min animation together, have a friend that works in the disney animation dept. in Orlando.

I almost took a 3D modeling class but I would've had to commit to a 2 year program. I'm glad I didn't since the media department at that institution closed shortly after.
