I took a college level forensics class in high school and we went over a lot of this stuff in the drugs unit. Including a video that showed the correlation of early drug laws being influenced by racism, the hemp stuff, etc. It actually had nothing to do with anything else we were learning. I think the teacher was subtly endorsing drugs.
