Had the Germans not had to retract and open up a major front to stop US/Allies coming from the west, they would have wiped Russia out...period!

The Germans had to do that because we entered..at the time most of Europe was under their control! WE changed that point blank!

Facts are facts! The reason German troops didn't have the cold weather gear and shit as SJ said is because they had to divert most of their offense west, to try and stop us.

they thought they had the Ruskies defeated enough already and could do that..not so much!
