Hopefully the weather will cooperate. KBP is kinda close to Easter which is the same time as Kingfish season, so maybe we can do some nearshore trolling or hit the skyway area if things are slow elsewhere.

I'm reading about these kingfish. They sound like a Spanish mackerel on steroids. They've been clocked at 40 mph on hookset. That sounds like a good time.

Yeah Fish, they are King Macks! They hit hard and fast, it is pretty cool. Hell, even the smaller Macks are a blast.

When I get home I'll post a pic of a nice one I caught this summer. Fun fish to catch, kind of a pain to cook because they are very fishy tasting.

Yeah, I'd like to see that. I'm not worried about eating any but I'll bring my cast iron skillets and some cajun seasonings just in case.
