I love how Bubba goes from not caring about the DD show and not knowing what's going on with the channels to micromanaging the DD show when the whole point was to let his back office staff take the reigns.

Also Wallace cracks me up.

As far as Stern's Wrap Up Show, Gary and Jon get off on tangents all the fucking time.

It's just hilarious that Bubba is critical on the people doing the heavy lifting, if he wants the DD to be his show, maybe he should stay and make it HIS SHOW and give the extra hour he promised the people that paid $300 at the beginning.

And the fucking "WAAAHHH" gimmick, no one deserves one of those there more than him right now. If Bubba was truly critical of his product like he said, he'd start changing shit, starting with his attitude towards his IO show and it's listeners that aren't happy with things.

A final comment on this, not everything is worth bringing up again on the DD. I do agree that they need to not go off on tangents so often, but certain subjects take priority.

I turned it off a lot today,trying to listen now I missed when 25 walked out I just couldn't listen to it,it seamed like bubba and hurricane double teaming 25 to me,and over talking over bubba, wasn't he just complaining that 25 wasn't talking enough ?

Hurricane is new to the BRN, and it shows how screwed up the pecking order is in Bubba's head when he's higher on the food chain than 25 who has put in his time there, ran errands, packed merch, and lately has helped pick up his slack on air when it comes to IO.

Unless you've been in the business a long time he holds that over people's heads constantly. And if you started in the business with Bubba as an intern, god forbid because you'll always be an intern in his eyes. He by default has more respect for people that came elsewhere than people that have moved up in his organization so to speak.

Saying 25 has "never been in radio" is goddamn insulting. Especially when he's provided content with the DD/Local 488 turned Mad Monkey. Sure he's new, but he's owed more respect as someone Bubba personally selected to bring on air.

Maybe he can bring Hurricane on air and they can mark out to each other's radio experience.

I agree, it's been a long time coming. That was a very genuine "fuck you" and I hope we don't lose 25 on air, I've been the biggest advocate for bringing him in since Brent first went off air and even more after Spice left. But ultimately he has to do what he's most comfortable with.
