Oh. I wondered if Cowhead was doing anything different to raise his ratings.

Dispatchers are civilians trained in emergency response. They are not sworn officers. Therefore they are not cops. But fuck it, give them a free shirt, who the hell cares?

So through all that wind talking it looks like they're trying to come up with some kind of sausage/bratwurst glory hole for guys to come down to win prizes by faggin themselves out.

Anybody got the latest ratings? Bubba mentioned beating Cowhead in the weekly Men 25-54 demo. But no numbers and nothing about Persons 25-54.

Ahhhhh, I see why Bubba didn't reveal more than he did. Looks like a horse race.
Thanks, Cap. |

If you look at it from a business standpoint, it looks like Cox made the right decision. Getting rid of Bubba and his bloated contract not to mention all the drama/baggage that comes along with him and putting Cowhead in his place for what some believe is 66% less than what they were paying Bubba and splitting the ratings right down the middle doesn't sound like such a bad deal from the money side of the business. |

Yah, I see that point of view, Cap. But Cox was expecting a 13 share from Cowhead. He will never get there with Bubba around.

It was foolish on Cox's part to think that Bubba wouldn't be picked up by someone here in the Tampa market after they let him go. It will be interesting to see what happens to Bubba after the Neilsen suit and to Calta after the Hogan suit and if either of them have jobs after the respective verdicts.
