Bubba Army Radio Listening Thread 8/15-8/19

I'm over the stream being free. The EE guys set the ball in motion, now they should just get the shows out to whoever will listen. Start a sales group that can get Ad sales. The listener subscriber benefit is the archives, which are password protected.

I'm going to believe there is hope until one of the major people leaves (Brent, Spice, Manson or even Bubba). I just can't believe they'd let this thing they've built, and re-built, die out for the last time.

1. Tampa Bay (19,326) Management gave away tickets to draw respectable crowds during a pennant race last fall. The Rays are good and exciting, but few in Tampa Bay care.

It's not that fans here don't care, we have a very spread out area, hard for people to make weekday games. The downtown location of stadium is one reason, should be moved to like the Toy Town area Bubba has mentioned.

Plus, just about every game is televised, so why would I go during the week when I can watch on teevee with my own beer, then crash when it is over!

Yeah, but a lot times with Bubba always trying to do something to "replace" his radio income along with what he says about wanting to retire, along with lackluster shows of just phone calls and bit after bit, brings reason for concern IMO!

I have to agree, 10k of the fans at Fenway every night don't know half the players and just show up to sing sweet caroline.
