Knowing what I know now, I should have gone the National Guard route. I could have done my 7 or 8 years and never done more than the 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks in the summer and they would have paid for college.

Not mine, he did try to get me with the " how would you like 25k in cash right now to go EOD" it sounded good until he showed me the video and then I was was like thanks, but I'll just stick with the MP deal, he did also get me in an air assault class as well, he would have thrown in airborne too if I wanted it.

I started with wanted to go into Air Force to fly..qualified, but they wouldn't let me dad sign me in, my mom was guardian. So went to NG and they were like, no prob, we'll let ur dad sign you in. Went to AF to get me paperwork then they were like well if the NG will let him sign you in, we can. I said fuck you!! Should have swallowed my pride and went in AF! Oh well! rest is history!
