I just have seen so many families and lives ruined by "legal" prescribed medications and booze that it amazes me how anti-pot some people can be.

The only families I know of that have been "ruined" by pot are those who had their family members taken from them on bullshit charges for trafficking etc.

Let me preface this with it's not a fight, I love everyone on here. But I didn't demonize weed, I don't really have a problem with it; but when you're a parent you need to rise to the occasion and elevate yourself to your responabilites. I whole- heartedly agree with you about the other substance abuse out there but that wasn't the topic of discussion. Whether something is legal or not has no bearing on my disdain for parents who don't put their children first. It's simple developmental psychology Dan, and being a psychology major I know what I'm talking about. Smoke your weed people, but don't bitch about the consequences later. Again, no offense .
