I don't think cable should be free at all, regular tv is free and that's fine.

Maybe if there was a basic free internet service (just like there is a basic free tv service) with the option to have enhanced/higher speed as a paid service, that would be reasonable.

I'm always using data and I'm averaging about 2GB/mo. Fortunately I get to use WiFi quite a bit.
