Missed one last night. While I was lookin' for the arrow and blood there were 6 Timber Hounds howlin' around 50 yds from the field. I thought it was wise to just get the hell outta there. Found my arrow this mornin'--clean miss. I'm sighting in a different bow right now. This one is a little easier to pull back. I got caught tryin' to pull back on a deer that was 7 yds away. So, lots of action but no blood yet.

I never had that happen before. It was just like the movies with the way they sounded and the fear they bestow. The only time they would attack is if I have a deer down and I'd be shittin' and gettin'.
