Cox seriously has three rock stations in the market and not a single one has Bubba? Having an active rocker and modern rocker seems a bit redundant. Perhaps they're planning on flipping 104.5 since 102.9 looks kind of new?

Then again Lex & Terry were on a AM station the last time they where here, and they lasted only a few months

I can only be thankful here we have never had a lex and terry or bob and tom. The only syndicated shows that have ever worked in Chicago were Howard and only after the 2nd time here and mike and mike on espn. Its a wierd market place here.

The only one I can think of here in that gendre besides Howard Stern (who was on from 1992 all the way to his last day in 2005) is Free Beer & Hot Wings which preceded him.

I wonder when Randy is going to pull the trigger on putting him on WLUP.

To paraphrase a famous Robin Quivers line, I was just about to post that. What are you listening on? Got the desktop app here. It does sound almost like they're broadcasting at a lower bitrate. Our resident audiophile SJ would be suffering.

Exactly! Thank You, thought there was something wrong with my setup. Im listening on my iphone, through TuneIn Radio app, on headphones, but yea it sounds like crap

So it's probably an issue regardless of platform.

Yeah I'm listening using VLC. TI is like they have the protection button half pushed, with an echo.
