I was a fan of the comic and still liked those films (the first two the most). Wasn't a fan of the Wolverine flick, though. But that's because the director sucks.

well if you planned a 3 movie franchise based on a comic - wouldn't you start at the beginning? not start where the 90's storyline picked up?

and you have to remember that Hugh Jackman wasn't anywhere before X-Men. The rest of the cast is pretty solid. Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart? Great casting.
