This is a little known service with unsecured streams, and 10 years of just having to play music with no live programming and little money to throw around. Attracting and paying for the talent is easier said than done.

It'll be interesting to see their first quarter results.

to me Bubba is following siruis template, you have this pile of money and you lay it all on 1 person, and hope and pray he brings in the money, fuck that throw down some money run in the red for a spell if your stealing good talent. It will all work out in the end, if you have the top local talent out of a few markets and let people know you have them and you lock them in for 2 years, how can you fail

I doubt they have a "huge" pile of money per se. One way he does follow the Sirius XM/Stern template is that the company pays for what's on the channels, not Bubba personally.

you can make it work, maybe its unknown, hell Pandora Slacker and Shazam where all unknow at one time, but they had something people decided thats what they wanted

They'll make it work eventually, but like all BRN web type productions, it's going to be a painfully slow process.

the money is there but you have to have a plan to get it, and hell instead of bowling alleys, ice cream trucks ( granted its his own money) sometimes you still have to invest in what you think will work

Just his idea of talent makes me wonder. Like tonight with the MMA show..he says he hears great shit about it. Really? From who? Waags? Jack Stiefel? All the other suck ups that kiss his ass and tell him everything is great? That show sucks, and i bet I am in the majority in that opinion!
