I did the whole sober deal for about 3 years. It was easy for me but I never really had a problem so I didn't see the point in not living it up every now and then.

I was dry for about 7 years. I was just drinking too often and had a couple bad hangovers and just was turned off it.

I was also really strict about not drinking and driving and always got stuck as DD so babysitting drunks kinda turned me off it a lot too
