Shannon Burke Re-Hired?
[ame]https://twitter.com/TheShannonBurke/status/467486642585235456[/ame]
So now it looks like Shannon is back Monday and the meeting was fruitful. Or was it just a work all along? *evil shannon laugh* |

HURR DURR WORK
Because Bubba flipping out and making rash decisions and later making up with people has never EVER happened before. Then again, like I said in that other thread, it's no wonder people are always thinking they're being worked. Shando is a hell of a talent, and that fact probably isn't being lost on Bubba/Bean or anyone else with decision making power. Then again, who the hell makes decisions at the BRN/IO besides them? McAdoo? |

Plus it would have been a nice change to hear a fresh voice on the channels. The diacos have been off for two weeks straight. That MMA show folded... couldn't even tell you if sam simon was still on the station or not... IO needs some new voices. As for pushing people over the fence... well bubba has had a good reputation for doing that for a while now. I honestly think the show thrives on getting rid of old listeners so they can just recycle their formula to new unsuspecting fans |

I totally agree about Fisher. If they wanted a free agent that has a decade's worth of a built in audience in the Tampa Bay area and a guy that could bring some new ears to io, he'd be a great addition. Remember how people were supposedly clamoring to get on the service, etc.? After Shannon and Ledge came on board, no one with a background in actual broadcasting ever came after. Fisher would bring a much needed..."manic energy" to the service. It's a nicer way of saying he's a bit nuts.
