I like when people take the stance that hosts in this genre have some sort of obligation to serve the public or whatever. The goal is to make money and the shows exist to sell ad time. There's nothing in commercial radio that's remotely in the public interest despite what they'd have you believe.
You want that kind of thing go listen to public radio before people like Shannon Burke have their way.
