Bubba said that he's "creatively burnt out" a while ago. So unless there's a big change in the show in some way, everyone's going to have to take what they can get it would seem. The thing is the best stuff most often happens on the fly. You can do all the prep you want but it could end up just sounding like a bunch of stories which is the knock on the show these days. If there's no energy or passion for it, the best material will flop.
It's not likely to be something a lot of people are happy with but he needs a FULL WEEK off. The mini vacations at he end of the week are apparently not cutting it. Spice leaving probably hit harder than he lets on. The thing is, if he wants someone to help fill that air time he needs to stop fucking cutting off Tara and telling her what an idiot she is, etc. It reflects badly on him since it was his decision. And doing this will make her clam up more which is counter productive to the show. If he doesn't like it, he has the authority to kick her out and replace her. It's as if he wants her there as a punching bag so he can look better. Same thing 25 and Carl do with BL on the Debriefing.
