Bubba the Love Sponge listening thread Dec.6-10 2010
yeah but what's sirius gonna replay - the FM or the IO?
Well they already passed on an uncensored midday show once. But who knows? Mind you the radioio show is 2 hours shorter, easier to find a slot for it. Maybe split the afternoon drive time with Bubba and MM.
Sirius XM gets a show for cheap and people stick around, they have a show for the Stern channels, plus there's less liability for them if a stunt goes wrong because they merely buy the content from another provider.
Bubba gets more freedom to do what he wants with his show and make the money he doesn't make from Sirius XM plus he has the opportunity to program a web channel.
Exactly what part of that reasoning is being a "mark?"

Heh. Lets be honest, only the hardest of the hardcore are going to sign up for Bubba's new venture. I doubt he'll be losing business by staying on Sirius XM.
