I see what you're saying, but to the long time fans they have a lot of time invested. They saw Calta grow up with Bubba, go off on his own and turn out to be one of Bubba's biggest rivals. Then you have Bubba who people either love or hate or love to hate
Most people like conflict and by proxy "take sides" based on whom they like better. Personally I'm indifferent about Calta, I don't listen to him, but I don't think his show is as bad as Bubba makes it out to be. The reason I still listen to Bubba is to see how it will finally end. I've been a fan since 92 when he was on the Power Pig, but like everything else with age his show has gotten progressively worse. Sorry for the rant, I'm done, now let's enjoy some Alien Ant Farm
