As for Howard's rant about Sirius, it couldn't have been 10% of what really needed to be said. As soon as I'm in the proper frame of mind, I'm finally cancelling that piece of shit service, be done with it. Every single thing they've done since 1-9-06 has been negative. The online player sucks. The iPhone app sucks (don't even have CHANNEL NUMBERS ON IT!!!). Not putting content first sucks. Running up, then down, the stock price sucks. Running the place worse than a college radio station sucks. Their hardware, or lack thereof, sucks.

That could go either way. He did mention people in Jacksonville have heat with him over the Jake thing, and Cox trying to blame a slip in ratings on that.

I cant possibly see how fans in Jax would have heat over the Jake thing, heat with Cox sure but not Bubba... I dont even listen to 104.5 for Bubba anymore anyways b/c of that, I just listen on IO now. So I suppose that makes me part of the ratings slip, but I dont want to listen to no chop job at the hands of Cox, when I can get just as easily get the full effect on IO

I'm not going to hold my breath. It would be interesting to hear how many paying Bubba subs there are, but announcements out of the radioIO camp come very slow.

Also it would be nice if they could stop using Icecast servers and actually protect the content for the paying users instead of letting everyone listen in. I have to wonder if Bubba is even aware of that.
