So basically becomes a he said she said. And I'm sure they would take the word of a cop as opposed to Hootie. Not that it is right...but ya know how it goes.
Though here, Ober would be more inclined to go with Hootie because he's a star meat gazer and it hurts Tubby more.
Either way, maybe that is why they didn't bring up the recording being illegal?
