Yes, they have an extra deputy on staff at my daughter's school every day, one sits watching the line as parents pick up their kids also. The school was already fenced in so they didn't add anything there but the whole thing is crazy. Now you have to have ID to sign your kid out even if they know you, it has gotten a bit nuts.

They take a scan of our finger prints that's in the system and if it doesn't match, no kid. Decent security, and I glad for it. It lets me not worry so much while I'm at work.
