I have a problem with these "glorying violence" buzzwords and acting like it's something new. Mankind has been glorifying violence since the first two cavemen fought over a mate. There's a standing tribute to bloodshed in the Colosseum in Greece.

I dare say we have progressed with fictionalized violence taking the place of actual violence, in wrestling or violent games/movies/TV shows. Or controlled violence with football, MMA, or other combat sports. Like Drew said, we're evolved animals, and it's easy to forget that. Best to have a safe way to indulge that instinct.

Going with what Billy's saying, the Swastika is banned in Germany and displaying it or possessing anything with it is considered a criminal act. Clearly that's an extreme example not to follow.

And I can understand removing the physical flag from schools and not flying it, but you have to be able to present it in a historical context.
