If we are going from land, the skyway is the way go. A spinning rig with the stuff I mentioned will work fine, although it will be a bit cooler so there may be a chance to snag a grouper if your lucky and that will tax your gear. You can fish from the beach cause there won't be many people in the water come Feb/March. From shore some squid or shrimp on the bottom works good or bouncing a white buck tail jig works good too.
