So then isn't it a good thing that people like Pete show up who can articulate their point, cooperate with the authorities, not destroy property, and actually represent a greater cross section of the US population than a bunch of kids just looking for a party in the park?

It drives me crazy that people like Burke seem to think everyone should just pack their shit up and go home because of a "hijacked" movement. Burke and everyone that characterizes the protesters en masse as a bunch of losers are fucking themselves over, because when it's time for their voices to be heard, they won't be taken seriously.

We don't know what Burke makes, but it's probably a comfortable living and he's probably doing better than most of the country. It's easy to sit on your high horse from behind the mic. Now I agree with him that maybe a more organized approach needs to be taken, but when you hammer the message home that the protesters are losers, etc. People will just write anyone with a complaint off and be less willing to step up and take charge. He's not doing anyone any favors by having a hardon for discrediting "occupy."

Well Chob, if you get the chance to see any footage of the Occupy Toronto clusterfuck, you'll see why many people feel this way. What Pete is doing is admirable. Any attempt to educate the public of the wrongdoing happening right now is a good thing. That didn't happen here in Toronto. There were so few at the core of this group, that they recruited anyone and everyone they could to occupy the park. Consequently, the Park was full of drug addicts, alcoholics, homeless, and losers. Most of them couldn't put a sentence together, that was evidenced by interviews. They put up many tents that were always vacant. They cried about what "they want", yet when they did leave, they left the tents that were donated behind. They made a terrible mess of the park. They expected a handout, got one, and discarded it. Yes, we're all in the same boat figuratively, but the US seems to know how to do this, as where we really don't. Add to that, Canada has only 7.2% unemployment, so Canadians don't see the problem as being, well, a problem.

I started a new line and got a iphone. They did everything and I was waiting on a confirmation email. 2 days later and no email so I call. They see I opened a line and what not but have no history of a order and payment taken. They owe me money!

Nah I bought the 4 for the other half. She had one and shattered the damn thing and has been using a shitty old moto razr. The new one is nothing more then a fancy software update at best.
