You been ignoring bubba talking about how the governor is shitting on state employees? I'd have to be with this place for 25+ years to even have a decent retirement package now. Before it was like 10 years and you got back 20% of your salary post retirement.

I long for the days of the defined benefit retirement program. Our company had one, but was sold six years ago. One of the first things the new owners did was freeze out the defined benefit program and go to a defined contribution (401k) program. Now my "old" pension will just wither away due to inflation, while it is almost impossible to make it up in the stock market.

Also, the governor posted the general information of everyone on the retirement plan who were getting over 100k/year and the majority were upper level state employees with 20+ years of service. There were a few leos but they had 30+ years.
It really irked me that he felt he could just put that out publicly.
