Same here. I just think that he really hasn't changed as much as he likes to pretend. And he's a pro bullshitter, hell it comes with the business he's been in for decades.

He liked to lie to Bubba and the audience and tell everyone he was running shit. I remember Bubba clearly saying "he isn't saying it, but he's going to run the whole show." In reality he was spineless and did nothing to stick up for his friend after TNA canned him. He's just there to pay the company lip service while he collects a much needed check. Carter still runs the day to day business.

And Bubba's involvement was weird in general. For years, except for the occasional WWE or TNA guest or promotion, he put down wrestling and it's fans back when he was on the UFC bandwagon, and doing live remotes at their shows.

TNA was started by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett after WCW went bankrupt. They ran weekly PPV's that were killer, because they had to be so people would keep paying. Anyway, they had a financial backer that had to pull out and they were facing bankruptcy. Dixie was a marketing person working for TNA, and her family business, Panda Energy, ended up buying a controlling share in TNA. And she became president.

The problem is, she is a bit of a mark, and has shown an inability to be able to market her company to take the next step. TNA reinvents itself every few years it seems, each time it's supposedly when they're supposed to step things up, but in reality they stagnate.

Our CEO doesn't tell our Engineering directors how to engineer shit, and that is exactly what she is doing IMO. Not that I really give a fuck if they fall of the map, rise, disappear!! Who cares really!!
