It's fairly common with AM radio. Only a couple stations on each frequency can go full 50,000 all day.

I never understood the whole putting the one blank bullet in the firing squad rifle. I know why they do it, but I've fired literally thousands of blank bullets and you can easily tell the difference between real and fake, so it doesn't make sense to me.
