Thank You Sir. That is the only knock I have on Drew is his Switzerland type approach to conflict on the bone. I know why he does it, I just don't like it from a listener standpoint because it doesn't make for good radio.

How can you not appreciate the difference in his approach to these things and the fact that he and BMS don't act like petty bitches on this matter? A lot of radio guys need to grow the fuck up. I wish everyone took the approach Drew does.

I just like a little conflict on the radio, I don't care if it's cheap heat or whatever. Bubba cutting a promo on the BMS was kinda funny today but the way they handled it was pussy-ish. Then they bring cowshit on and I'm expecting some heat from him and I get nothing. I'm just over the faux lovefest at the bone. It hasn't been Real, Raw, Radio for a while now. Looking at how things are handled over there, I bet Spice doesn't even address Bubba's statements about his ratings or how he wants him back on the show.

Conflict is good, but if the guys are on the same team it's nothing but counter productive and could end up hurting several of the shows on the station and in the end the overall viability of this all talk format. As talk fans across multiple formats, I think it's in our best interest to see the station do well. I'm honestly most worried about Spice's show. I worry that if what Bubba said about his ratings is true, Spice could be one fight with management away from being canned.

If you expect anyone to address it and get some heat, I'd say you'd be best served listening to Spice. It's clear he's frustrated with the way things are going. It's only a matter of time before he goes off. You can tell he's holding a lot back. Even if he doesn't completely go off, Spice will be hard pressed to ignore it.

Around what hour was this rant from Bubba? I'll check it out in the IO archives. I'm still a bit behind on the shows.

Looking at the raw ratings I saw the Bone made a considerable 'jump' post trial. I'm not sure that had anything to do with it, but it is interesting. If Bubba creates 'heat' in-house, he might help the other shows with listeners without the risk of getting sued.
