That is one bit the sean ras and ledge types do get right. The media (games, news, movies, books, whatever) does help condition people to ideas like this slowly over time. I can't say it is 100% purposeful but it certainly does have the effect, especially on children, of getting us used to concepts like these checkpoints and swat walking the street with automatic weapons.

that's not crazy,the gov-ment asked the movie and TV industry to help out with the wars they were waging,to make movies to get kids into the mode to enlist,there are some sick twisted people in charge and I personally don't put much past them,past history shows the tactics they can and will use to manipulate the masses rant over sorry

Ledge's show isn't too terrible, it is all the dumb shit he shoves into it that makes me unable to listen. Mindless stoner fuck rants, weird long ass shows with that melissa or w/e her name is girl up north, the same stupid ass songs by wannabe RATM every week.

When he first came on the air I was listening weekly, when he went 5 days a week I was so excited, then it just went downhill.

Quite a few people seem to like it though, so what do I know?

I get tired of the stoner rants as well. I wish his show would get more in depth with things. An issue I always had with the show was its tendency to bounce around topics without really getting into anything. I like his show and will listen occasionally, like when he had the psychiatrist on talking about how to help returning service members, that was good stuff. I just can't take the serious stuff every night. It gets to be a bit much.

Hence why I pushed for this section of the board. I like chilling out and laughing with Spice and the crew.
