Not disagreeing, but it is funny to hear Billy talk about it. I'm not really a fan of mob rule though, because the mob is easily led.

We need some kind of basic qualifying before people are allowed to vote. Like these fuckin people in this Obamaphone clip, they probably couldn't tell you the 3 parts of gov, yet they get to choose it.

no one ever agrees with me so I don't expect it now, but IMO if you are on any kind of gov assistance you shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I would agree with that, for a period of time. Like a yr prior to the election or sumthin. Would never happen, but is is definitely persuading on how you would vote, especially in elections like this with MR Let's Give people everything!

exactly - look at greece - over half the population lives off the gov or works for them

the same way here our local mayors and councilors vote themselves pay raises - that shouldn't even be allowed. The people that put them in office should be the ones to say - hey you guys do a good job have a riase, you balanced our budget and got us a surplus. kudos

but instead they can fuck the towns over and take the money for their own interests...

oh local guy owns a construction company and suddenly there's 5 bridges being redone by his company? give me a fucking break

Best part of this is me personally seeing where instances of this were comepletly avoided because benefitting parties abstain or remove themselves from the discourse.

Not saying it goes like that everywhere every time but its not as rampant as your like to believe.
