I fail to see the upside for Bubba. It was embarrassing for both of them, but it was Bubba who let some dude fuck his wife. And it isn't like he'll be getting any Gawker money. It's fame, but for the wrong reasons.

Could Hogan be working everyone? Perhaps. But I just find that theory highly suspect.

What's the payoff? Just for a boost in publicity when the public will just get distracted by other things in a short time?

Were they trying to get a payday from Gawker all along? Well that was clumsily executed given the original suits Hogan fired. Why bother with those if the plan was to get Gawker's money? Although, if you want to get conspiratorial (we need a Ledge smilie) you could always say that was part of the plan too.

Why bring Spice into it? Yeah, Bubba's clearly butthurt over his departure, but to straight up make slanderous accusations and involve cyber crimes investigators when it's all a farce? I don't think Bubba is that dumb or malicious.

I don't understand 25's anger towards Spice. I remember when I asked him about trying to get on Spice's show back in the day and he motherfucked Bubba for blocking it. Now you can hear the venom in his voice anytime Spice is brought up. I don't get it
