Really though, if Matt comes back my radio life is complete. His style fits my listening needs. And as Fish said, hopefully he'll land with someone who will support him properly. None of that "budget cuts", bullshit.

He's in a tough spot, the only time the stations have any revenue (to pay a talk host) is during morning drive and afternoon drive.
Loved his show but it was not strong enough for drive time in a major market where baller pay is.

depends on how you work the gimmick IMO

if spice goes back to nights and is allowed to promote janus - the extra pay off might be from janus itself and not the station. I don't think where the money comes from matters, just as long as it's enough.
