He really was a down to earth dude. I can't think of anything bad to say about him. Especially the way he treated my wife. she fell in love with that redneck immediately.

That always felt like on air shtick to me anyway. Remember the first Lasker/Bubba spat? It was on the eve of Bubbapalooza and Lasker blogged (holy shit, I forgot Bubba blogs were a thing) Bubba wanted him to play up the racist angle.
