The shows have been really hard to listen to lately. Sometimes we get a flash of the old Bubba, but honestly most of the time he is a shell of himself.

Has anyone heard him talk about the Twitch Master Bidder thing in a while? I bet there's not one master bidder left other than the losers that send him Nutella and water.

How much stuff has Bubba put on his wish list that he plays with for a day or two and then shits all over what the fans got him and these losers keep sending him more stuff. It's unbelievable.

Interested that 25 left. On one hand I can see him wanting to move on and try something new. But there is something mysterious about how he was pulled off the air for over a week without much explanation. Bubbs talked yesterday about Gene and 25 needing to change a bad "mindset." ("Adversarial," Manson called it.)

The implication seems to be that Lasker did change but that 25 wouldn't. I would have predicted the reverse...

Wow. I never would have imagined this, but I guess that's how bad things have gotten for Bubba. Mike Waters is one of the most talented radio guys out there. His Ned character has always been radio platinum, one of the funniest creations ever. I'm surprised he stayed on as long as he did, to be honest. Shannon Burke is returning to Florida to work for JVC Media on a new format the company is launching in Orlando next month called “Florida Radio Man.” The new format will include Bubba The Love Sponge in morning drive, Burke in afternoon drive and Scott Ledger in middays. CEO John Caracciolo said this is exactly what radio needs right now, fresh, new, funny and local.

JVC says it will carry the spoken-word format on 105.5 FM and 660 AM in Orlando.

If Bubba and Shannon knew anything, they would know that they are better together then apart. The couple of shows Shannon did on Bubbas show about a month ago were really good and they have great chemistry and what really works is Shannon calls Bubba out on his BS which Bubba really needs in his life. I love Manson, but he was a yes man.



I have still been listening and Bubbas show is not very good right now with just Tuddle and Blitz chiming in. They are trying out women and Amanda was okay and Janessa was horrible. They would be a lot better with either Gene full time or someone else that can tell Bubba hes being stupid at times.

Does anyone have recordings of the old shows? I only started listening in 2006. I have found some on the newsgroups of the 2008 days (when they were doing a FM show in the morning and Sirius in the afternoon).

I would really like to get my hands on some of the really early stuff and basically anything that was FM before IO / Bubby Army Radio came along, clearly I have access to all that content. Anyone??

If you want to call it that, its pretty bad. He has at least 1 lawyer sit in ever day as "co-host" and the interns are getting a lot mic time that is just HORRIBLE, all pretty much the same show on repeat, its pretty stale. I am still listening out of habit, just waiting for him to just lose his shit and maybe start bitching about EVERYTHING, that might be some good content. Jenessa sucks as well. Its rough.

Bubba sounding pretty good with the new lineup. Dr. Dan/ Baby face give us a perspective that you can't really find anywhere else. Seth balances Bubba out a little bit. I think this is the best the show has sounded in a long time.

A report in the Tampa Bay Times indicates that the rabid fans of radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge forced him and his family to move out of Florida after his identity was revealed along with this role in outing Bubba in a PPM ratings manipulation scheme. Nicholas Tabachuk is suing Nielsen in Pinellas County, Florida complaining that the company promised to keep his identity hidden but failed to do so.
