Does anyone here honestly think this format is a good idea? The only thing that is somewhat interesting is Ned 3-7. The rest I'll never listen to. Aside from Bubba 6-10 of course.
Yes. With a caveat. I think they could use a bit of tweaking to the format to diversify a bit.

Even on Howard 101 and Stern having a massive ego, there was still Bubba and Ferrall. They need another good, non BTLS show talent on there. But given how things turned out with Shannon and Drew, he'll probably be leery of it. And just like Stern's ego could never let Bubba get too big on 101 and he was always in Stern's large shadow, so it would be on 98.7 with another talent. And Bubba's guys will never be "ungrateful" and move onto something bigger. Hell, we all saw how resentful Bubba was of the Burke Brigade concept.

I'm a big fan of unique programming on stale ass FM radio. It's risky putting all their eggs in the Bubba basket, but at least there will be a committed core of listeners.

I figured it was almost a lock considering its a Beasley station and Calta made it his mission to shit on Stan and Haney a bunch last year when they were "competing" since 96.1 and 102.5 overlap a bit in SWFL. However, it doesn't surprise me as they've been on for a damn long time together and Beasley has never syndicated them at all. It makes sense for Bubba to go with the "easy and safe" route though with having no one else on the station for the time being.

In theory it would be way better than commercials but Bubba plays the songs so much on his show that it becomes torture even if you don't listen. I won't subject you guys to another wall of text, but he's been given a great opportunity here to freshen things up and expand his brand (eat your heart out Kayla) but he needs some competent web people and a clear vision.

He showed how much he cares about WBRN by the people he has on after him. He didn't even think about putting "professional" jocks to run each time slot. What does he do? He goes on the cheap (or free most likely) and gives the Waters family :vomit: three hours, Manson by proxy Ned for four hours and 25 three hours. None of which are true hosts imo. Hell I'd take Ledge (if he could calm down the conspiracy bullshit a tad) Stan and Haney and even Mike Reeves over what is on there now. He really didn't learn anything from IO, did he?

Ledge did some good stuff. You should go back and listen to old shows he did with those that served, or the show about near death experiences. My issue with D Con a lot of the time was that it couldn't seem to find a happy medium (for me at least, not for hardcore fans) between being your typical guys BS'ing hot talk show and being serious. Plus I despise Blind James like most people here, and him aside, he had way too many people on air that IMO didn't add much.
