i played all day i need a break. Leveled up a bunch and unlocked the ability to put hits out on other players. It will pretty much take forever to unlock everything online im already kind of sick of grinding out the same missions over and over

Did that, deleted my system's cache as well, made a new character, redid the install for the whole game itself. Nothing works. It apparently is a known issue that is *supposedly* being fixed in the title update today.

Yeah there are a large number of people having problems, a lot of which went away for PS3 users when they got the 1.02 patch today. Hopefully rockstar hurries up with the 360 version, I know MS's cert process is a bit different so no idea how long "Today" is in rockstar language.

I have like 3 friends playing no issues and another 3 that are having the same issues as me. Even trying solo just causes it to load forever :(

One thing I found is if you can get a helicopter off the hospital or from the air field is you can buzz around robbing the stores a bit easier. Just gotta make sure to stay at 2 stars so they don't start sending helis after you.

Also like I said, the vinewood area has cars that will sell for like 8k a pop. The customs shops don't take luxury cars but they'll take the sports cars and shit running around. There is a timer on it though, once a game day (I think it is like 50 minutes to an hour.)

What it is, is the cloud servers, when you get that notice about them before joining DONT JOIN. Nothing you do will save.

The heists like the ones in the game are coming later but apparently we can plan jobs at a house with a "heist board" now. From what I can find it is any of the "higher end houses". So that one that is like 205k but has everything the same as that 400k one is probably the best choice. Only difference between the two is the view. Same floor plan.

If you go to that real estate website in game it lists what everything costs. Any of the 200k+ apartments have the board and apparently the same floor layout.

Even without much money coming in you're ranking up at least and it is still more fun playing with people who are not dumb as fuck.

Remember that a lot of shit actually unlocks (event types etc) as you move through the game. So we probably need to get a bit further along anyhow :jj:
