Well guys here she is, a 2002 Mini Cooper S
Here's the deal, my neighbor who's a mechanic had this car brought to him by a man who's daughter ran it into the ground. The timing chain broke and bent the valves. He decided it wasn't worth repairing for the costs involved. We are doing a complete rebuild since the car is completely opened up. I will post progress as I make it. So far this is what she looks like.
The engine is supercharged, leather interior, six speed manual. I'm paying $3500 for it. My neighbor has or will have all parts needed for the full repair. Dropped him the down payment today. :woot:

She said she wants it, but she's only 12 1/2 so We'd have to hold on to it for a couple years, but yeah, if she wants it she can have it when it's time.

:haha: I had an Audi S4, that thing was fun but a bitch to work on with the turbos, supercharger is so much easier.Sweet deal brother.:brofist:

Yeah Ski, part of the deal as to why it is the price it is, is because I have to do most of the work with him supervising.
He's dropping the motor tonite, so sometime this week I'll take it over to my buddy's house and sand blast it and paint it and make sure the bottom end is torqued to specifications.
