Tuddle showed up for Bubba Saw, which he claims he didn't know started today until a caller said it last week on Drew's show and that no one at the BRN let him know.

Tuddle said that Hurricane told him he'd get a certain amount of money. And only today Tuddle was told he wouldn't get it, so Tuddle bailed. Tuddle says he called Bubba's crew a few times prior and was told he'd be paid.

Tuddle and Bubba had a blow up on a phone call that was on Bubba and Drew's shows. Bubba was his regular self, says that they're rewarding bad behavior by keeping Tuddle at the Bone, and he said he called Shark to get Tuddle fired. Tuddle freaked out, said Bubba was "washed up" and that he was treated poorly at the BRN. Poor Drew was trying to deal with all the shit he was in the middle of.

I missed the whole thing and am still trying to fill in the blanks. Although I did just catch Bubba's call on the Drew podcast. If I missed anything, anyone, feel free to add something.

While Tuddle needs to stop getting into these situations, which is probably why he's trying to end his association with Bubba's show and stop being a "stunt guy," nor should he had used Drew's show as a platform to slam Bubba, Bubba trying to get him fired is a chickenshit move. He doesn't run that station. No matter how he tries to throw a fit over what the BMS or Cowhead do.

You're either in the St. Pete building and part of that corporate environment, or you run your own place and pay your own guys. You can't have it both ways. And Bubba should realize how little control he has when Cox gave the BMS guys his old market and they are looking to inherit his time slot if he doesn't sign again.

#teamtuddle is simplifying things. Tuddle could've handled it better, which can be said for several occasions in the past. But this situation brought out the absolute worst in Bubba as well. And it shows how things slip through the cracks at the BRN. It seems as though Hurricane could've handled things better as well, but nothing sticks to him being Bubba's golden boy.

The only fault I place on Tuddle is waiting til last minute to cancel, but if you believe what he says, he said he tried several times to contact Hurricane to hammer down fair compensation, but never heard back. You know the BRN as well as I do and I do not doubt for a minute that anyone over there is fast at doing anything or getting back to anyone in a timely manner, so I believe his story. You're right. We'll have to agree to disagree, to which I'm ok with. I just believe that Tuddle should never have agreed to do the bit if he wasn't happy with the terms. It's a simple notion. If he didn't like the amount he would be paid, he shouldn't have agreed to the bit. If you say yes to someone on a job, that implies you're happy with the terms and will follow through with the job. You definitely don't bail at the last minute because you don't like how much you were to be paid. The time to change your payment was at the onset of agreeing to the job, not after you've accepted it.

It's all about personal responsibility.
