I once was a fan of a Radio show in the 90's, and I'd call the guy 2 -3 times a week on the air. He goes on the air one day and says he bought DirecTv units at WalMart in Buffalo. I calls him up and offer to install his for free. We set this up, I install for free, and charge him 1/2 price for the cheater card. He's in love with me now. yeah its weird they will offer me to have like 6- 9 months or so of free sub.Then they now offer me free radio but want me to buy like 3 mth sub.If they did offer me both i would do same thing.hahaha.

They then bill them for a yearly subscription saying although their radio was off, the account was active. They wouldn't refund them, nor even talk to them. XM even hung up in their ears.

The credit card company saw things differently and pretty much told XM to go piss off.

I had a similar problem with vonage

I tried to cancel they said they wouldn't so I called my credit card company - they contacted vonage and vonage said "he still has an account"

so when visa said that to me I said - ok tell them to fax me the papers I signed for this "account" - vonage couldn't produce any so I filed a fraud claim against them - boom cancelled

haha right on.My work trucks still have them in there.(I dont have control over that) But i use my ipod all day.Some days sucks cause only a few trucks have aux jack and rest i have earbuds in ear all day long they hurt like hell after while.

Sirius is completely fucked now. Their service has sunk to its lowest level. They turned off my free sub 4 weeks ago, so I phoned them up. The guy tells me I owe them for 6 months service. I tell them that I owe them nothing. I paid the $58. for 6 months, and now I'm on 2 months free, now turn my fucking radio back on asshole. He hangs up on me. I call back, go through the same bullshit, demand that this asshole turn my free service back on, and make sure that you turn it off forever on Nov. 25. He turns it on, and it's still on. Idiots.

I may be the ONLY GUY ever that actually didn't have to jump through hoops to cancel their Sirius account. What I did was last October I canceled, they begged me 3 times to stay and finally offered me 6 free months. I took the 6 free months, then when March this year rolled around, a few weeks before the 6 free months was up, I called and told them just to shut it off..they begged and even offered another 6 free months and I said no, I had already pulled my equipment out of my cars, which was true. She said thanks for being a customer and that was it. The trick was I found an 800 number here in the States, I think it was in NY that I called, I didn't go through their overseas bullshit...

Believe me though, I was prepared to be billed later on and get fucked with by them because I had read the horror stories, but I apparently dodged a bullet..

My wife called and cancelled, they said it was cancelled and would end on my next billing date a couple of weeks later. Couple weeks later, my radio is still in. I log into Sirius and they fuckin billed me for an entire fuckin yr!

My wife called again and bitched them out and cancelled again. This time they credited my account for what they just billed be and killed my radios, except the one in the house. It is still on I think.

I am going to order a new Amex card and get a new number since they don't let you delete it from your account on the web before they try and bill me again! :getsome:
