I used to love the show but now it's all gun talk, all the time. I am so happy Bubba put the kibosh on that shit bucket. 25 Cent can do a show without that dude, with Carl Harris and Al Kida and Tuddle or whomever is hanging around the studio.

totally forgot about al kida - yeah get that fucker on air more - I love his wrestling stories.
Plus the dudes funny. Seems quick on the draw with comebacks too so I think he'd work good on the DD or 488
Though I think the guys are really missing the bigger picture here - ok I understand this guys getting free promotion and bubba don't know who he is and that's not so good - BUT
the fact remains that a LOT of people seem to enjoy the gun talk... now we know the show has a 6pm slot they can juggle around - why not give the fans what they want and get a gun show going every once and a while?

Oh I totally agree that a gun show would be a good once a week one or two hour show, but Local 488 is supposed to be a fun welcome the weekend kind of show. The gun stuff just gets really boring to non-gun people like myself.

I agree - I'm the furthest thing from a gun nut there is and skipped both the last two shows about guns

They need to have the Devil cohost the show. That guy is my hero. I don't care about guns and still listen to the show every week. I like the drinking stories.
I stopped listening to it once it become the where/what did you drink this weekend/drug talk/gun talk, etc. show. I honestly don't care what happens to it, but if they step up with content I might listen again. I like Carl and 25, and Miller but once Jabs and Miller left it went off the rails in my opinion.
As far as the Daily Debriefing goes, how would they know to call Donna? That's a personal subject and they need to handle it with kid gloves. This is something Bubba always does. If there's an issue, he lets it build up for too long and then blasts someone on air and makes them feel like shit when he very easily could've taken them aside and addressed it before. But he doesn't want to talk to people or have people talk to him, he has a racetrack to go to or one of the pile of other things he puts on his plate that he chooses to take on. Anyone that's been listening for a while has been pointing out issues he'd know if he ever sat down and listened. He can't expect to dump all the responsibility on Spice and have Spice know exactly what he's thinking and what to tell the people doing the shows. For a guy that is on radio, he seems to have a hard time communicating.
"Lack of leadership," as Spice put it perfectly. And poor 25, no wonder he's so unsure of himself.

That is exactly the problem. Too few people and too much responsibility. Bubba needs a quality office manager. One that can manage and not worry about on-air time. Same with the PD position...at least at first. Spice is on-air talent. Spice should not be doing the PD duties as well. .25 said it best; they are so busy there is no time for interaction.
