I do think it may possibly be a healthier long term business model but I think they jumped the gun too soon. I think maybe they should've waited another two years for the Early Enlistment period to run out and for them to get investor backing and money to pay talent in place.

The way Lege has started, not sure I will even listen to that 5 days a week, or Burke for that matter. I will give them a try and see if it changes from their weekly/bi-weekly show. But I haven't really been impressed with either thus far.

There's no way that what used to just be an couple buck/month adder on my subscription is now worth $13/month, since all of the other content is free. No spin makes that go away. Oh, me too - the ONLY thing I think could possibly make this right is a pro-rated refund, but I'm going to keep it in perspective. I hope he doesn't just stop listening because of shit like this. I separate the fun of the show from the business of the show.

The ironic thing was, I paid for a year in advance only after considering whether or not I wanted to get the show for free (easily done, of course). I decided to pay for it because I thought it was the right thing to do to, accepting the trade-off of legally getting the uncensored content and downloads for a year's $$$ in advance. Now that they are giving away what I paid for, I won't feel bad not renewing anymore, but continuing to enjoy all the live content and still getting the downloads I occasionally need from other sources.

I got to agree and think its a wise decision to make the stream free. Now if they can get PAYING advertisers it might just work out for them.

The ones who were fucked are the EE's who sunk $300 into nothing. Those guys should be getting a refund as they are not getting anything they were promised. Instead of getting told to suck it up they should told Thank you for putting your trust in Bubba and the gang.

The EE's are Bubbas most loyal listeners I think it is REALLY stupid for them to tell them just to suck it up... I would think those EE's are the fans they need the most to succeed.
