yup i do it to the fm show and app cost me $1.99.It does not record sometimes but it works 99% of the time.

That's the part that made me laugh. You and I both know that this was the biggest reason for them doing this. That was the first thing I thought when they announced it. And my first instinct was that it was the best way to give the stream steamers the middle finger.

Before those people weren't a factor in radioio's sales pitch to advertisers. Now, they are. Granted were going to get more ads on shows but that's to be expected even before this announcement.

I'm willing to bite the 300 dollar bullet and wait to see how this pays off. I'm very patient and measured. I have faith that my money will be put to good use.

From the perspective of the $10 subs, that's actually a pretty standard price for monthly show downloads from other hosts. I know that's what Kidd Chris was charging for a while. And I always thought that was a bit steep for just the stream.

I totaly agree with you, EE's and yearly subs should get something in return for being early adopters. Yearly subs were somewhat ignored in those discussions today. It would be a good thing to bring up.

The meet and greet part of the Early Enlistment is something that will only serve a small portion of those 2,800+ people.

Hey guys, I've been back reading all of the posts regarding the "breaking news" Spice dropped on all of us today. I'm going to be completely honest here. I am an EE and I feel like I got got. Bubba and the crew got on the air and really pimped being an EE for IO hard. Basically promising us the world. Then Spice takes the "management spin doctor" approach and tells us "butthurt" EE's basically to suck it up and of course every fucking asskissing mark calls in to suck up and say this is a great thing. Eggzactly! With the monthly melisha's they can just cancel, no bubbles no troubles, they got what they paid for. But barely 6 months in to a 3 yr deal is hardly what I signed up for.

Oh well, it is what it is I guess. I just hope it doesn't end up with more issues, like lawsuits, etc, though not sure on what grounds as we are still getting the content we paid for, but now so is everyone else..for FREE!

I totally see your point, but I have 2 daughters (10&8) and I want them to be active and play sports, but there are only a few they can play (hell no to softball btw) they have both taken a real liking to soccer so I'm gonna support them 100% If they were boys, totally different story.

The FM show is already packed full of commercial time. They could sell ad time separate from the ones on the affiliates. The io show has 1 or 2 three minute breaks at this point and they should be very careful about jacking the amount of commercials up there I agree.

What would it take to "make it right"? I honestly don't know. For me, a decent attitude would be nice. I really like spice, likely my favorite "other guy" on the show.
