On the IO show I personally don't like when they play a relevant bit right after a talk segment.
Talk about Tiger woods, play a 2 minute Tiger bit.
Talk about Casey Anthony, play a 2 minute baby killer bit.
Talk about Lady Gaga, play a 2 minute song parody.
I would rather hear the guys talk more.

I gotta agree.. seems like they're picking topics just to play songs kinda...
plus talking about tiger woods losing a tourney isn't relative to their tiger parody song about him getting beaten by his wife and fucking pornstars.
On the whole I prefer the parody bits like the bubba jeopardy (which makes me LOL every time) as opposed to the parody songs

.
It has zapped the funny right out of some once decent bits/parodies .
Plus how can you get into a show when you can predict the coming bits/parodies by the stories being covered .
They should play completely irrelevant bits from 98 Rock or the early Sirius days just to fuck with people. :jj:

yeah or stop doing 4 hours of shitty fm and produce some new fucking bits...
it's not like bubba doesn't have enough whore segments for manson to get out of the studio and make some new shit

Short answer, No they should stop doing it. Seems like they are trying to take the easy way out when they do it.
Long answer, see SJ's first response, I totally agree with what he said.

LOL the best part is when they pretend to forget if they have a "bit" or "element" for said subject.
"Oh, yeah, I have it right here"

I've said that a number of times on the other forum. I completely hate Manson/Ned parody songs. The crew hate on morning zoo type humor and yet Bubba plays Ned's, "load". It's typical pun type humor that brings the show down.
Your examples are great and I hate them so much only because I've heard them time after time. "Rack one up Spice" .. As soon as I hear those words, I change the channel.
