I got some new refund news (I guess I'm one of the "six" people that asked for one :rolleyes:) Spice emailed me last night and stated that if I don't hear something within a week he will hand deliver my request to bean himself. Then I heard Bean on the DD, so I said WTF let me call in and see if I can put him on the spot, so I got thru first ring (wasn't expecting that to be honest) and someone besides Pantera answered and I explained that I wanted to talk to bean and he said he just got off the air, but he took down my contact info and handed it to Bean on his way out (or so he says...) Yes, a lot of people felt insulted but eventually understood what they were doing and why they were doing it. They realized that they were investing in something big in the future and figured they'd get some kickback down the road. Not everyone jumped at their throats wanting blood crying jihad.

I don't disagree with you at all, but you have to admit back in Jan when Bubba was hyping this up, it was an "us against the world" mentality (exclusivity) he was preaching, thus assuming everyone and their mother would EE, when only 3000 or so of us took the leap of faith, he must have been floored, then only a few months later he opens the floodgates and lets everyone in for free (IMO a last ditch effort to save IO) I'm not all about negativity, I love Burke, the Diacos and a couple others, but Bubba seems like he could care less about IO and puts all of his energy into BRP, which again IMO will be IO's downfall, if he doesn't pull the nose up. I can see a few benefits, like studio concerts, but who can get off work to see them?? Meet & Greet @ Scene ...I'll pass. No, I asked him on twitter when the deal first went down, he said he would try the drive thing for a while and if it gets to be too much of a hassle he would move to the area. I don't think they could have a good show with all of them phoning in, ISDN (which is nothing but a digital signal as opposed to a typical analog home phone) won't help.

Good points (you also IOBane). With Bubba's personality and career, I feel he is doomed to be single forever, which isn't a bad thing for him. Going forward though BRP will be a problem if he doesn't stop spending all of his time and energy there and treating his REAL job like the proverbial red headed step child. He has a great opportunity to become totally self sufficient, but he can't see the forest through the BRP (sorry I had to do it) :lol:
