Last movie I watched was Adventureland...

not quite what I expected but it was a decent film.. I was expecting a few more laughs I guess...
The kid who is in the upcoming Zombieland flick is in it and gives a decent performance as an awkward nerd - though he kinda plays this character in all the films I've seen him in..

kinda like Michael Cera, except Michael Cera is a lot funnier

Wyatt Earp was good tombstone was far better . Val Kilmer as doc holiday is exceptional. For costner though the only thing people really like him in for some reason baseball movies, when he does anything other then that people hate and don't want to see it or watch it. Until recently with mr.brooks i think that helped boost him back up again. It's kind if like what micheal did to john travolta's career, that movie killed him then he figured out that he can play a "bad guy" better then just about anyone and now he is back up near the top of his game, he just needs to stick with bad guy roles.

Whatever Works - Larry David was great, but this was a rather silly, throw off for Woody Allen. 2 great quotes: "Why does every religious psychotic end up praying at my doorstep?" and "Yes it's true. I have been very patient with your phenomenal ignorance."

Drag Me To Hell - proof that Sam Raimi is dead as a director after making the 3 shitty Spiderman films. I'm not a fan of any of those, quite frankly. Not sure why as I like super hero movies. But I digress. This film seemed set up just to have a ton of gross shit enter or come out of the lead actresses' mouth. Some scary moments and I applaud the ending, but for the most part it's by the numbers boredom that is typical of horror films. Also, old gypsy women are gross.

I didn't appreciate it when I first did (maybe 15 years ago?), but damn if that movie didn't hit me in the gut this time. GREAT film. William Holden, Robert Ryan, Ernest Borgnine and Warren Oates were phenomenal in it. Great, great, great film.

Saw 'Avatar' 2 1/2 weeks ago. The 3D was cool, the visual aspect of it was incredible. The story sucked and dragged.

The Blind Side - I liked it but not crazy about this flick, my wife loved it. I thought it was more of a made for TV movie.

Sherlock Holmes - Big thumbs up. Robert Downey Jr. is money.

The Hurt Locker - Excellent

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus - Decent, it felt like I needed some maryjane to watch this flick.

Couples Retreat - This movie had some laughs, ok.

I'm usually not real crazy about action/adventure type movies, but this was good. I just finished downloading that Polish Dr. Cancer movie. I'll watch it in the next couple days. I FINALLY got to see 'Captain America' & 'Green Lantern'.

Capt. was actually very good.....i was expecting shitty. It's not like Caps is all that super, and i'm glad they left the door open for the Red Skull.

Green Lantern wasn't too bad, either. I don't get all the hate for it. It had good fx, and reynolds did a good job acting. I guess i'll have to do some research as to why it supposedly "sucked", maybe i'm wrong.

I watched Argo on a rainy night while on vacation last week, really enjoyed it.

NFN but the place I stayed had apple TV, thats how I rented and streamed Argo. It was the first time I got to play with one, I was pretty impressed considering its low cost, if I had faster Internet out here in buttfuck Ohio I'd def buy one.
